Haohan Chromatography has established a gas chromatography top air detection method for the new preservative 1-methylcyclopropene. Using HH BoraBOND Q capillary column separation, equipped with hydrogen flame ionization detector (FID), isobutene external standard quantification. There is a good linear relationship between the concentration of isobutene and 1-methylcyclopropene and the detection peak area value. The method is simple, fast, and accurate.
